With five days of growth, my head has a nice springy nap. I can’t stop rubbing myself.
Ahem.
The first time I shaved my head, about eight years ago, hitherto unknown follicular fault lines caused the hair to bristle in weird patterns. In particular, I had a splendid sagittal crest running down the centerline of my skull. I told everyone that the ridge was caused by “pate tectonics.”
It remains my favorite bad pun to this day. I can’t wait to use it again.
