There are all these crazy rumors floating around the backpacker circuit about some kind of new illness spreading out of southeastern China. But the local news hasn’t said anything about it. Now, I know I’m probably being completely paranoid, but it did kind of freak me out when the doctor sneezed in my mouth several times before collapsing and being carried out by attendants.
I doubt that news of this illness has spread to the States, but if anyone has heard anything, please feel free to send me several dozen articles.
