Puerto Williams pier
Puerto Williams is on Isla Navarino, and hence is the southermost town in the world (unless you count military bases and research stations in Antarctica, which I don't). The public pier is actually a sunken ship, the Mikalvi, which also serves as a local night spot. More on that later. Notice the whole sheep carcass strapped to the rigging of the boat in the foreground. |
