The wind through these passes was unbelievably fierce.  You could actually make out white caps on the small lakes below.

I have to admit, I like this picture.  The panorama pretty well captures the sweep and also the barrenness of this mountain chain.  And the greens, blues, and browns remind me of satellite images of earth.
